Pallesviakos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonis Karteris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Errikos Nosis in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Trichas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manolis Kaloumenos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Piatas in the 12th minute of play. The long shot by Stathis Nosis in the 14th minute really tested Manolis Kaloumenos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Zacharias Smernos charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacharias Smernos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Pallesviakos defense, Eustratios Kapetanoglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Trichas. The Pallesviakos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Trichas should have stopped the shot. Eustratios Kapetanoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Trichas having to interfere. Dimitris Trichas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonis Karteris in the 34th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Aliver-pool's Eustratios Kapetanoglou made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitris Trichas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the game, Antonis Karteris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dimitris Trichas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Aliver-pool were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kostas Piatas made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Antonis Karteris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aliver-pool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pallesviakos the free kick. 61 minutes into the match, Aliver-pool's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Tassopoulos came free, but Manolis Kaloumenos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Tassopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manolis Kaloumenos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute Pallesviakos were awarded a corner. Zacharias Smernos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Pallesviakos's corner Zacharias Smernos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manolis Kaloumenos quite easily take care of the ball. In the 79th minute, Antonis Karteris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Trichas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After 82 played minutes Pallesviakos got a freekick which was hit by Markos Pesmatzoglou. If Kostas Piatas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Aliver-pool got a freekick which was hit by Thrasivoulos Katsiaros. Dimitris Trichas made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Antonis Karteris sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Aliver-pool could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pallesviakos throughout the match.
